Wyoming Church is celebrating 150 years and counting of faithful service to the community! We’re excited to continue the celebration through an anniversary capital campaign.

We invite you to prayerfully consider how you will contribute to this special investment in the future of WPC.

Many of these projects are urgent, long overdue maintenance. If not addressed soon, these issues will expedite the deterioration of our buildings. These projects also fall outside of our annual operating budget.

Success in this campaign cannot depend on a few. It will take all of us practicing sacrificial generosity so that future generations will be able to inherit and advance WPC’s legacy.

Our greatest hope is for WPC to continue the work of sharing the love of Christ for the next 150 years! Thank you for helping us advance our mission and legacy through your generous donations.

Join us this fall to continue the celebration! We’re excited to offer three more opportunities to commemorate this blessed milestone:

Sunday, September 22: Mission Sunday, “150 Years of Putting Our Faith Into Action”
Loving our neighbors as ourselves lies at the core of WPC’s mission. This exciting service will celebrate our mission outreach over the past 150 years, with special emphasis on the past 25 years of serving our community.

Sunday, October 13: Planned Giving Sunday, “150 Years and Counting”
Let’s make sure the next generation can continue to worship God and serve the community beyond our 150th. This compelling worship service will kick off the beginning of our planned giving initiative, including testimonials from our members on why they graciously included WPC in their estate plans.

Sunday, November 10: Historical Sunday, “Telling WPC’s Story”
To close out our 150th celebration, we will have an exciting worship service sharing WPC’s story, with fascinating historical highlights. We will also officially retire our current hymnals and dedicate the new hymnals as a gift to the church. A birthday reception will follow worship to celebrate WPC’s 151st birthday on November 9th, 2024.
