“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.” Malachi 3: 10

2026 Per Capita Apportionment:
WHAT IS IT? Did you know that is the meaning of the word, “manna,” in the Hebrew Testament. Manna was the bread of heaven that sustained the people in the wilderness. Perhaps you have wondered the same thing about Per Capita–what is it! It is manna–the sustaining “bread” for the ministry of the PC(USA). Some describe the Per Capita contribution as similar to paying dues for a group you are a member of. Per Capita is much more than dues. It is joining and enabling the denominational ministries beyond us to do the work of Christ in the world. It is sharing the gifts of heaven.
WHY? We believe the Body of Christ is a priesthood of all believers, the whole worshipping community is connected as one body, and all are equally important to the mission of Christ in the world. The Per Capita Apportionment system allows every Presbyterian to support the essential administrative functions of the church. These include ensuring the whole church is gathered and represented in the biennial General Assembly, the ordination and call process, pastoral immigration processes, ecumenical, judicial and constitutional concerns, The Presbyterian Historical Society, and the ministries of the Synods and Presbyteries.
For 2026, each confirmed member of the church is asked to offer $37.00 for their Per Capita contribution. WPC has, so far, received $4,239.96 from 42 people/families representing 114 actual member contributions. Thank you!
You may pay your/your family’s apportionment by “clicking” on the GREEN
VANCO block link above. After, you’ll see the Apportionment section down on the
page.
You may also use one of the blue Per Capita Apportionment envelopes that was mailed to you. Please make your check payable to Wyoming Presbyterian Church and put the envelope in the offering plate on Sunday or mail it to the church
office.
Have you remembered WPC in your estate plans? It is easy to do.
