At Wyoming, we take seriously our baptismal vow to raise up our children and help them grow in their faith from birth through adulthood. Our Children’s Sunday School is a great opportunity to learn more about discipleship and make lifelong friends.
During the pandemic, our Children’s Sunday School occurs on Zoom at 10:00am. Children, pre-k–6th grade, meet with our director, Jamie Haas Powelll, for a short Bible lesson, prayer, and fellowship. You won’t want to miss this! Contact Jamie at email@example.com to receive more information.
Parents are invited to attend the worship service at the same time at 10:00am on Sunday via Facebook Live (@wyomingpres) or on our Youtube channel here.
Baptism and Confirmation
In our tradition, the sacrament of baptism binds us together as a community, the assurance that the church will nurture each other in the faith. The Wyoming Church family welcomes anyone who wishes to be baptized, including older children and adults.
Confirmation is a chance for our youth to reflect upon their faith and start to understand what it means to be a disciple and member of the church. Each confirmand has a mentor to help walk them through their confirmation journey and will spend time with the pastor and other confirmands to learn more about what it means to follow Christ.
For more information on baptism or confirmation, please contact the Pastor, the Rev. Heather Brannon, firstname.lastname@example.org
