Sharing God’s love with all people through preaching, teaching, outreach, and pastoral care is Heather’s passion. She is a “heart and mind” pastor who equally enjoys getting to know people and being challenged intellectually. She has served congregations in North Carolina and Virginia.

Heather received a Bachelor and Master of Music from Johns Hopkins University, the Peabody Conservatory of Music. Before seminary, Heather was a music teacher at a thriving independent school. She received a Master of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary. Heather pursued advanced graduate work as a biblical scholar at Emory University and has several publications in biblical studies.

Heather is married to the love of her life, Sam, who is an accomplished composer, pianist, teacher, and computer scientist. They enjoy spending time together traveling, cooking, and solving the world’s problems together.

Steven Shellman, Director of Music

Steven is the director of music at Wyoming Church. He leads an adult choir, handbell choir, as well as several specialty choirs and is the church organist. He has served Wyoming Church since May 2006.

Alethea Randazza, Director Open Door Nursery School

aletheaAlethea Randazza is the Director of the Nursery School. Open Door Nursery School is a not-for-profit school established in 1973 by Wyoming Presbyterian Church. For forty years it has provided a positive, enriching experience for many young children in our community. The school has a variety of classes; 2’s class, 3’s class and 4’s class. Ebony Wiggins, Children’s Music and Performance Director

EbonyEbony Wiggins is excited to become a part of the WPC community as the director of the children’s choirs! She has been the general music teacher/choral director at South Mountain Elementary School in South Orange for 21 years. She is also the director/music director of the yearly school musicals there and hopes that all her experiences at South Mountain will help to enhance and enrich the spiritual lives of our children through music.
