Alethea Randazza – Director Open Door Nursery School

Alethea Randazza is the Director of Open Door Nursery School, a not-for-profit program established in 1973 by Wyoming Presbyterian Church. For over 50 years, Open Door has provided a positive, enriching experience for young children in our community.The school offers a variety of classes for 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds, with both half-day and full-day options.

Ebony Wiggins – Children’s Music and Performance Director

Ebony Wiggins is excited to become a part of the WPC community as the director of the childrenโs choirs! She has been the general music teacher/choral director at South Mountain Elementary School in South Orange for 21 years. She is also the director/music director of the yearly school musicals there and hopes that all her experiences at South Mountain will help to enhance and enrich the spiritual lives of our children through music. Matt Balaban – Director of Music Ministry
Wyoming Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce Matt, our longtime interim accompanist, will serve as the Director of Music Ministry. Matt graduated from Muhlenberg College with a degree in neuroscience and in music, focusing on organ performance. He has earned a masterโs degrees in mathematics and in education and is currently studying in a philosophy program on ethics, epistemology, and mind. He has taught mathematics and other subjects in schools in Bangladesh, India, Niger, Kuwait, Nepal, Thailand and the United States.
Churches he has worked at as a church musician and organist include Christ Church Bangkok in Thailand and several in Pennsylvania, including Seibert EC Church in Allentown, First United Methodist Church in New Kensington, Slickville Presbyterian Church, and Sons of Zebedee Lutheran Church in Saltsburg. He sings as a tenor in Harmonium Choral Society and Harmonium Chamber Singers and has performed in choirs and on the organ in several churches locally.
We rejoice in the variety of gifts and depth of experience he brings to our music ministry. With our Director of Childrenโs Music, Ebony Wiggins, the breadth of our musical praise will grow our discipleship throughout the congregation. Matt will continue his longtime joy of international performance and teaching in the summers and be with WPC on a โschool scheduleโ of August through June. Ebony will continue as our summer accompanist.
