Johnsonburg Camp and Retreat Center is a non-profit, Christian camp and retreat center that offers memorable New Jersey overnight Christian summer camp programs, and much more.

This year, we are planning to offer scholarships to a possible seven children:

•    Two children from Family Promise of Essex County (who are currently experiencing homelessness)
•    Three children identified through One World One Love and the International Rescue Committee
•    Two children from Greater Abyssinian Baptist Church in Newark

Without our help, these children wouldn’t have had an opportunity to spend a week away at camp, experiencing the beauty of God’s creation and meeting new friends, and learning new skills.

2026 Per Capita Apportionment:

Per Capita Apportionment is the system by which each Presbyterian provides his/her fair share of the cost of being part of the larger Presbyterian community. Through Apportionment, all Presbyterians share equally in the cost of providing the staff, expenses, and programs of our church’s governing bodies (the Presbytery of Northeast New Jersey, the Synod of the Northeast, and the national General Assembly).

In the course of each year, we ask each confirmed member of our church to contribute Per Capita Apportionment, which for 2026 is $37.00 per confirmed member. So, for instance, a family of 3 confirmed members would contribute $37 x 3 or $111.

Here are some ways to contribute to the Per Capita Apportionment:

1- You may pay your/your family’s apportionment via:
https://wyomingpresbyterian.org/giving/  Then “click” on the GREEN VANCO block link. After, you’ll see the Apportionment section down on the page.

2 – Or go on the Giving Page and click on the GREEN VANCO block.

3 – You may also use one of the blue Per Capita Apportionment envelopes that was mailed to you. Please make your check payable to Wyoming Presbyterian Church and put the envelope in the offering plate on Sunday or mail it to the church office.
